History

Easter 1967 That's me in the middle when life was more simple. My dad, of course, is the bunny and, as always, he brings a lot of fun and energy to the design of Ducky Standards furniture.

Designing furniture and working with wood is a passion I got from my dad. I began making furniture with my dad in our basement around the age of 12. We losst my dad in February of 2008 and he will be missed both in the shop and in our family. Later, making children's furniture partly paid for my architectural studies at Kansas State University. My goal is to produce unique and hard to find heirloom quality wood products that many generations may enjoy.
